Gruppo Sportivo Velopresse has ONLY ONE CAPTAIN - that is, and will always be KIM KIXEN!
Gruppo Sportivo Velopresse was founded in a bar in Århus in 2010 by IL DOTTORE, who immediately phoned KIXEN asking him if he wanted to lead the squadra from this day! KIXEN accepted, and the fine women of the streets of Århus went into some kind of extatic HYSTERIA from which they never returned.

NYE RYTTERE TIL GRUPPO SPORTIVO VELOPRESSE // NEW RIDERS AT THE GRUPPO SPORTIVO VELOPRESSE!
First of all, Direttore Sportivo (IL DOTTORE) would like to thank the Ladies of the Streets, that greets the good looking ROULEURS of GS VELOPRESSE on an every day basis. Thank you for what you have for us! We appreciate.
Concerning new riders, IL DOTTORE have this statement:
’I’ve been looking for a good bunch of skinny dudes for about 12 years, and eventually i caught them. On the escape from the court of Antwerp, I saw two men running in the same direction as me. Realising i could never catch them, I threw my last coins after the slowest of the two. Hitting him (maybe too) hard in the neck was one thing, but later the same night we all came to an agreement at mutual satisfaction. Writing the contract on a napkin made me feel as good as the ice cubes in an Old Fashioned.’ Il DOTTORE states.
’They are almost as skinny as Captain Kixen’ he continues waiving his one arm high in the air.
Il Capitano KIM KIXEN adds:
’I saw the two – both of them – in Marseille in 1989 and immediately i knew they had the looks for our squadra! They just needed to grow and become real men. Now they are, and im happy that this year i will have a lead out like no other rider. We in Gruppo Sportivo Velopresse, we have no fear!’
The new riders are:
Mike the Serb (US) – extremaduro, banjorista, grimpeur, bellissimoto, hard working and hell of a man. Also known as the guitarist del ritmo in rock’n’roll band The Cult.
Brian ’Van Der’ Holm (DK) – elegantier, liar, long spitting, Official street guide in the Royal City of Antwerp, Herr Telekommunikator par excellence and a whole lot more, that even we dont wanna know. Main LEAD OUT for Kixen.
